Around 140 researchers from DESY Hamburg, DESY Zeuthen, KIT, HI Mainz, HZDR and GSI came together at GSI/FAIR on October 19–20, 2026 for the Matter and Universe (MU) Days 2026.
The meeting was organized by the MU topic Cosmic Matter in the Laboratory (CML), represented by its spokespersons Tetyana Galatyuk and Michael Block.
The MU Poster Prize 2026 went to Carina Udrea (TU Darmstadt/GSI) and David Frese (KIT) for their outstanding poster contributions.
